General Personality of your character: Alice is a reserved girl among strangers but can be quite sociable amongst friends. She is very driven to succeed and excel on account of her family's history, and is often discovered asleep in the common room with a text book in her lap. However she is not fanatical about grades, her reasons for work are strictly competitiveness and a deep want to make her parent's proud. She avoids drama and confrontation because she hasn't the self-esteem to recieve critcism. Although she would be considered rather pretty, Alice is very modest in her dress and demure and would never consider approaching her crush. She is not concieted but she spends a good deal of time checking herself in the mirror-- she is her own worst critic. Alice is easily flustered and embaressed; she almost always looks flushed as though she has just run a race.

Alice Havendell was born to Robert and Patricia Havendell a distinguished pure blood family. The Havendells are close friends to the Potters and Longbottoms and often attend similar charitable functions and parties. The Havendell family played a major role in the Ministry and prided themselves on their liniage through out the years as Aurors. Although Alice feels obligated to live up to her family name her parents have always encouraged her to persue a milder and less dangerous profession than being an Auror strictly out of fear of lossing her. Despite her parents constant chat of her working as a hearler or in muggle relations Alice has her heart set on being an Auror, and assumes that their perogative for telling her to persue a different line of work is from a lack of confidence in her. Her parents both work in the courts of the Minstry, and retired from being Aurors after her birth. Alice's parents have always been very much in love and warm and kind to their daughter. The Havendell family's background and tightness has molded Alice into a friendly and overall happy person. She has never seen a distinction between blood lines and cares little for those who stress the importance of being "pure". This is generally because she doesn't wish to be bothered by drama or arguement.
